Elder Christian Lehr: The Power of Testimony

This Week in the Sierra Leone Freetown Mission

There is a lady named Fanta we visited just to greet her. Her son Jesse asked me, "Why are you even here? Latter days is a cult and worships the devil. I don't want you guys to come again." We agreed not to come again but left with our testimonies. When I bore my testimony I felt a burning in my bosom. I felt the spirit literally overcome my body and I felt like Nephi had when he spoke to his brothers! It was my first time feeling that powerful of a spirit. I feel like Fanta won't come around and am sad that my testimony will probably have to stand as a witness against them at the last day but it confirmed upon me an even stronger testimony that Jesus is the Christ, That Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God and that the Book of Mormon is true. I know it.

Sister Dauphin: The Answer is in the Doctrine

This Week in the Colorado, Denver North Mission

So this week we had A LOT of miracles everyday. We had so many that instead of calling them miracles,we call them manna. It's so funny because every time we see one happen before our eyes we walk away then say " OMG MANNA SISTER MANNA!!"

Xiao, a Chinese man we are teaching, hasn't been grasping The Restoration but we keep helping him  because 1) He is interested in prophets and 2) He keeps on reading the gospel principles book instead of the Book of Mormon. So from there, we were getting a little frustrated. We decided we were FINALLY going to continue on to the Plan of Salvation. We started with a Mormon Message ( those videos GENIUS!) The spirit was so strong after that then we started with the plan of salvation Sister McDougle taught about Pre-Earth life and the creation then suddenly I stopped Sister McDougle and asked Xiao if he had any questions. He said he did, t last week he was reading about the scripture Adam fell that men might be (2 Nephi 2:25) and wondered about Adam and Eve. So we told him about Adam and Eve he said his question he had been wondering for years was answered!

Elder Shaunton Stubbs: A Plea to Members

 Dear Members,

We need your help! We hope and pray that you can trust us with your friends and referrals. We hope you see that we are trying our best to work hard and be obedient! Sometimes I feel that we aren't trusted because we aren't the "perfect missionaries" for your friends, and thats fine, but be aware, that there is no perfect missionary besides Christ! I hope that you all have wonderful missionaries in your wards, trust them, give them ways to serve you, go with them to see them in action, and you might feel a little better about helping them out!

Just a thought, I know you all are great missionaries! Keep up the great work, and blessings will come!
